[CA] [CA11] eS78 Speed issue

[CA11] eS78 Speed issue
Just installed a new eS78 and have a few issues i cannot seem to resolve.

I have set the 2nd databox to read SOG and also edited the main databar to show SOG. But still i get no speed reading.

Any help or guidance would be great thank in advance.

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Robin,

Please note that SOG will only be reported by the MFD if the vessel is underway and making way. Should SOG remain dashed when operating under these conditions, then it is possible that another device within the system may be providing the MFD with GPS data or and/or the the GPS receiver being used by the MFD has acquired a poor GPS position FIX. Accordingly, should SOG remain dashed when operating under these conditions, then please specify the HDOP value reported within the MFD's GPS Status dialog and additionally attach the MFD's Select Devices List (more specifically, its Diagnostics...html file) to your response. Please additionally specify the makes/models of any devices have been connected to the MFD's NMEA 0183 communications interface.
