[CA11] Axiom pro rvx with b175
Hi, I recently installed an axiom pro rvx 9" and a b175m. The B175 got plugged into the back of the axiom, power got hooked up and I put the drain wire to battery ground since I don't have a bonding system. I go to settings/network/depth finder and it wont discover the b175, nothing pops up at all. I reset factory settings, powered off by shutting off the batteries, updated software, unplugged and plugged the B175 and repeated this a few times. Am I missing anything dumb here? The b175 plug fit great, do I need some type of adapter? Part number on the B175 is Model # 17834755 | Mfg # A80049 | UPC # 723193729120 (from west marine)

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum 26fsregcc,

When using the single A80049 B175M transducer with the system, it is necessary to install the A80328 Single Operation Cable between the transducer and the CHIRP fishfinder product's Transducer socket.

Will this also work with single channel transom mounted chirp airmar units such as a tm185m?

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Hunter14,

Indeed, Airmar's single channel 1kW CHIRP transducers may be used with the Axiom Pro RVX MFDs, CP470, or CP570, but will need to go through Airmar's CHIRP Junction Box with F/RAYMARINE CP470 Type Connect. It would be recommended that Gemeco, Inc. (Airmar’s US distributor (803 693 0777)) be contacted for information concerning how single channel 1kW CHIRP transducers should be interfaced to the junction box.
