passive speaker bezel removal for ray90 VHF
I have a ray 90 with a passive speaker which is screwed on to a wooden panel.
The screws are behind the bezel on the speaker. I need to take the speaker off to get work done on the panel. How do you remove the bezel so that no damage is done to the bezel or the wood. Thanks Tom |

RE: passive speaker bezel removal for ray90 VHF
Hello Tomk25,
You are going to want to use a medium sized flat head screwdriver and some cardboard or a towel for this. Please see the attached install guide as a reference. There are some tabs on the bezel that you will use the screwdriver to pry loose in a clockwise or counter clockwise orientation. As you go around the bezel it will break loose from the speaker. It will then expose the screws which can be removed then the speaker can come out. Chris, |
