RE: new DSM300 availability
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Johnny,

The DSM30 and DSM300 were retired several years ago. Unless the DSM30 or DSM300 to be replaced or should it be interfaced to a Raymarine hsb2 Pathfinder Series Display or to a C-Series Classic MFD, then the DSM30 or DSM300 may be replaced with a CP370 Fishfinder Sounder Module. Should the DSM30 or DSM300 to be replaced or should it be interfaced to a Raymarine hsb2 Pathfinder Series Display or to a C-Series Classic MFD, then it would be necessary to search the second hand market for a DSM250, DSM30, or DSM300 for use with these displays.

RE: new DSM300 availability
Hi Chuck

Our components; radar RL90CRC, sounder L1250, plotter RL80CRC, apilot ST700/150, gps raystar 120, ducer airmar B744V.
The L1250 has gradually stopped operating normally. Wont sound bottom, no numerical display of bottom. Using manual settings for freq. and gain. Thinking adding DSM300 to correct.
Please steer me in the right direction.

johnny

RE: new DSM300 availability
Johnny,

Do your displays feature hsb or hsb2 communications circuitry? This may be determined to examining the splash screens of the displays as the power up. Should they reference "Raytheon", then they feature hsb communications circuitry. However, should they reference "Raymarine", then they feature hsb2 communications circuitry. Only the latter may be interfaced to a DSM250, DSM30, or DSM300 ... again these sounders have been retired for some time and would have to be sourced via the second hand market.

RE: new DSM300 availability
Hi Chuck

We use the hsb2 circuitry. Looks like we are having a raymarine tech rebuild an old/new unit for this application.
Thanks for your input.
