RE: E120 classic
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Jim,

Q1. can a dsm 300 be connected at the seatalk highspeed outlet using a crossover coupler ? if so can I connect another e120 through the seatalk/alarm out at a later date . if this is not possible what is the best way to do so?
A1. The DSM30/300 and E-Series Classic MFDs each feature Ethernet (SeaTalkhs) network communications interaces. Indeed, the DSM30/300 is designed to be interfaced to an E-Series Classic MFD via a pair of SeaTalkhs (M) to RJ45(M) Cables which have been joined to one another using a SeaTalkhs Crossover Coupler. Alternatively, the E-Series Classic MFD(s) and DSM30/300 may each be interfaced to a HS5 RayNet Network Switch via a cable assembly constructed from an A80272 SeaTalkhs (M) to RayNet (M) Adapter and an appropriate length of RayNet (F) to RayNet (F) Cable.
