Seatalkng power cord color coding
I am installing a seatalkng backbone. The red power supply cable has a spur connector on one end and red, black, and uninsulated wire at the other. I presume the red is positive, black is negative. Could you tell me what the unshielded wire is for and what it should be connected to.
Thanks Tim |

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Tim,
The bare wire which you have referenced is the SeaTalkng Power Cable's drain lead. Please click [http://forum.raymarine.com/showthread.php?tid=316]here[/url] to view a FAQ addressing this subject. |
