Please refer to your other thread addressing use of the M78918 Airmar B66VL Transducer with a DSM30. Please click here to view a FAQ addressing replacement of an E-Series Widescreen MFD with an Axiom MFD. If operational, the switch, radome, and DSM may all be retained for use with the Axiom MFD. Regarding the DSM30, these sounder modules are officially not supported for use with Axiom/Axiom Pro/Axiom XL systems. Specifically, Axiom/Axiom Pro/Axiom XL MFDs and LightHouse 3 software have not been specifically designed for use with nor officially tested with DSMs. However, anecdotal feedback has indicated no issues thus far in using an operational DSM within systems featuring Axiom/Axiom Pro/Axiom XL MFDs. Accordingly, should your DSM30 be operational, then you might want to try it out with the new Axiom system. Should there be any sign of issue with the DSM30, then the DSM30 and its Power Cable should be replaced with a CP370 and its Power Cable.
