RE: [TG11] RV100 Axion 9 loosing bottom at speed
Hi fish for fun,
Dual-battery systems are good from the points of view of not accidentally draining your start battery with your electronics, and not having the electronics restart when you crank the engine, but you don't necessarily have isolation between those batteries so it doesn't necessarily prove that you don't have a power supply interference problem. The negatives are almost certainly bonded for example, and you may well be charging House through a VSR or similar. Regards, Tom Raymarine since 1999. Interests: Diagnosis of problems in sonar/fishfinders, NMEA2000, ethernet comms, autopilots, thermal cameras Location: Sydney, Australia. Please don't PM me asking for direct support, please ask a public question instead so that others can see the question and answer. Forum posts will always be answered before PM requests. |
