[TG11] wind transducer mounting
Is it necessary to mount the mast-top transducer so that the arm faces parallel to the bow/stern line or is a slight offset angle okay?

RE: [TG11] wind transducer mounting
Hello Daveb,

You'll probably get some slight asymmetry of the wind angles because the air-flow around the windvane won't be quite the same tack-to-tack, but a wind-angle alignment is a standard part of the installation and this will allow you to make sure that the angle reads correctly.
