VP created waypoints resulting in Name Conflict error
When importing Voyage Planner routes (ten routes) to c125, getting error message NAME CONFLICT. Searched in both user manuals for c125 and Voyage Planner, but neither mention Name Conflict as an issue. Search on Raymarine Forum shows no mention of this error, either.

Problem seems to be that a waypoint (having the same name or number) can only appear in one, single route. For the Lat/Long to be used again as a waypoint, a new waypoint with a different name / number has to be created. The c125 is catching this during the import process and displaying the error message NAME CONFLICT. The options for correcting this are: Copy as new Waypoint, Copy & Replace, or Don’t copy.

How can this be avoided when using VP to create routes?

RE: VP created waypoints resulting in Name Conflict error
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum neilansg,

Actually, the same waypoint(s) may be used within more than one route. I have more than 50 routes each of which have the first dozen or so waypoints (and legs accordingly) in common. However, when importing these routes into the MFD, simply choose the option to overwrite the data associated with the previously imported waypoint of the same name rather than create a new waypoint ... and select the checkbox to do this for all such instances.
