An update on this issue.

I don't know what Navionics has done, but I just updated my C80 Compact Flash chart chip with their latest Navionics+ data. It worked OK without having to go and manually delete the .BP2 files.

With this latest update (as of September 9, 2017), my C80 also seems to respond quicker when I zoom in and out. Perhaps because I didn't update the 1ft 'SonarChart', or because of some settings I had tweaked before the update, either way I'm happy!
