older raymarine st40 to a 120khz?????????
hi have a datamarine corithian depth that works but dim to read.

i want to remove and put in a raymarine st40 depth and use the

existing transducer which is 120khz please reply if that will work

before i start this project. kindly

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum silentfaith,

Unfortunately, Raymarine's depth sounding instruments are exclusively compatible with 200kHz depth transducers. Due to the restricted power output of the ST40 and i40 depth sounding instruments, these instruments should not be used within in-hull depth transducers. Please click here to view the transducers (excluding the P79) which may be used with an i40 or ST40 depth sounding instrument.
