MFD video input port for thermal cameras

Raymarine's a/c/e/eS/gS-Series MFDs and E-Series Widescreen MFDs are designed to be used with Raymarine T-Series Thermal Cameras and FLIR M-Series / MD-Series Thermal Cameras. FLIR branded thermal cameras must be reconfigured with specific static IP addresses (see related FAQ) before being interfaced to these Raymarine MFDs. The video output cable labeled IR CAM (on dual payload cameras, the video output cable labeled VIS/IR will be used) of the thermal cameras must be interfaced the MFD's Camera/Video 1 input BNC plug found to the MFD's Power/Data/Video Input Cable.

Raymarine MFDs are not designed to transmit received NTSC/PAL video via Ethernet to other networked Raymarine MFDs. As such, the camera's video output cable will need to be interfaced to a video amplifier/splitter (FLIR part #4108996 recommended), which in turn will be interfaced to the Camera/Video 1 input BNC plug of each MFD on which thermal video is desired to be viewed.
