Welcome to the Raymarine Forum semnet,

Do the reported symptoms occur when the engine(s) are switched OFF and all other circuits / devices are switched OFF? If so, then the reported symptoms would appear to be caused by a fault within the e97 MFD's fishfinder circuity. Accordingly, it would be recommended that the MFD be sent to Raymarineâ€™s Product Repair Center to be bench checked / serviced.
