Q1. The question concerns the re-use of the GPS antenna that was installed with the AIS500, can this be used with the newer AIS650 without the need for replacement?
A1. Yes.

Q2. I noticed the newer AIS650's have 50 Channel and the AIS500 had 16 Channel receiver capability. I am assuming however that because the antenna is passive this improvement is due to the improved receiver in the AIS unit, nothing to do with the antenna itself. Is this correct?
A2. Correct.
