[CA] Equipment Upgrades
I have the following on my boat and would like to replace the chart plotter and possibly the radar.
Current Equipt.
RL70C Chartplotter
Pathfinder 18" Radome
Smartpilot ST 8001 Auto Pilot
Raystar GPS Receiver

I am looking at the following:
E120W Chart Plotter - Not sure of the SN as it's still on the boat but here are some numbers from the box. E6223, N16821, AE622231096095, 091975004797

Radome 24" Product code M92652-S & S/N 0450486

Questions:
Will the E120W work with my current Radar, Auto pilot & GPS receiver
If my current radar would not work, would the one above work.

I appreciate your help in answering my questions.

RE: [CA] Equipment Upgrades
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Mike,

Q1. Will the E120W work with my current Radar?
A1. Negative? The E-Series Widescreen MFDs were designed to be compatible with Digital Radomes (retired), HD radomes, HD open array radar pedestals, and SuperHD open array radar pedestals. With the exception of the aforementioned Digital Radomes, all of the radomes and open array radar pedestals which I have specified are currently manufactured by Raymarine.

Q2. Will the E120W work with my current Auto pilot?
A2. You have identified the model of autopilot control head which is presently installed onboard the vessel. In order to answer this question, it would be necessary for you to identify the model of autopilot course computer which is presently installed onboard the vessel.

Q3. Will the E120W work with my current GPS receiver?
A3. Raystar forms the root of all GPS sensors which have been produced by Raymarine. In order to address this question, it will be necessary to know specifically which model of GPS sensor has been installed onboard.

Q4. If my current radar would not work, would Radome 24" Product code M92652-S & S/N 0450486 work?
A4. Negative. See the response to Q1.
