[CA] CP470 Fault-Finding
I am trying to fault-find a CP470 connected to a B265LH, MFD's are e165.
The CP470 is flashing the seven flash fault code which according to the manual states it is unable to determine the transducer ID.
MFD is reporting no transducer connected but CP470 is visible on the network.

I tested the system using a known good replacement CP470 with exactly the same fault code sequence. Power and network connection appear good.
I checked the transducer cable and no damage or interruption was found.

The question I had was whether any further tests can be performed, in particular on the B265LH. Can any resistance tests be performed on the B265LH.
I'd like to determine with 100% certainty that the fault lays with the B265LH before hauling and replacing.

Thank you for your help.

RE: [CA] CP470 Fault-Finding
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum PetrelMarine,

With regard to such fault isolation, Airmar offers transducer testers (ex. TDT1000, etc.) to support testing CHIRP transducers, including the transducer's XID.
