[CA] i60 wind instrument showing ---

I have just installed a new i60 wind system and the wind direction is showing OK on the display but the wind speed is showing as --- whether I select Apparent or True. However I have a repeater display connected via SeaTalk and this is showing wind speed correctly, so the sensor head and cabling must be OK. Is there something I need to set up in the i60 to display the wind speed?

Is the wind transducer directly connect to the transducer terminals of the i60 Wind ... or has the wind transducer been interfaced to some unnamed device within the system?
