[CA11] T122 Not Sending Data to Garmin 942xs & Remote Issue
Problem 1
I have a T122 that I believe is wired correctly to send data to a New Garmin 942xs Chartplotter. The T122 is receiving data but not sending. All ports on Garmin 942xs are set to NMEA Standard 0183.

During original install with an old Garmin Chartplotter I recall the Marine Electrician plugging his computer into the T122. Could he have changed a setting or two creating the problem? If so is there a way to fix the issue without being a computer/electronics expert?

please see diagram attached.

Problem 2
I recently bought (2) NEW T111 Displays. During "Networking" the new T111s woke up and connected to the Micronet just fine and display data.
However:
Before adding these NEW displays I had (3) Existing Displays, (2) T215 and (1)T111, named #1, #2 and #3 by the T113 Remote. After adding the NEW Displays the T113 Remote now shows Display names #1, #2 and #4. Further the NEW Displays cannot be controlled by the remote. What can i do to get the (2) NEW T111s to be able to be operated by the T113 Remote? All components are branded Raymarine.

RE: [CA11] T122 Not Sending Data to Garmin 942xs & Remote Issue
Welcome back to the Raymarine Forum agurski,

Please excuse this late response as your thread got buried within the stack. It would not typically be recommended that one interface both the T122's NMEA 0183 OUT and NMEA 0183 IN ports without proper filtering or a data loop will be created (i.e. the T122 will re-transmit any NMEA 0183 sentences which it receives). You may want to consider disconnecting the T122's NMEA 0183 input port from the chartplotter. Doing so will should then permit the T122 to transmit instrument data to the chartplotter.

Additionally, these products do not appear to be correctly interfaced to one another. When interfacing the T122 to the Garmin 942xs Chartplotter to permit the Garmin 942xs Chartplotter to receive data from the T122:
- connect the Garmin 942xs Chartplotter's NMEA 0183 RXA lead (brown) to the T122's NMEA 0183 OUT+ terminal, and
- connect the Garmin 942xs Chartplotter's NMEA 0183 RXB lead (violet) to the T122's NMEA 0183 OUT- terminal

If interfacing the T122 to the Garmin 942xs Chartplotter to permit the T122 to receive data from the Garmin 942xs Chartplotter (see note above):
- connect the Garmin 942xs Chartplotter's NMEA 0183 TXA lead (blue) to the T122's NMEA 0183 IN+ terminal, and
- connect the Garmin 942xs Chartplotter's NMEA 0183 TXB lead (gray) to the T122's NMEA 0183 IN- terminal
