[CA11] i70 Display Screen Polishing
A well intentioned guest used a chemical based cleaner on the cockpit displays. They are readable, but not as brilliant as when new. Is there a compound or polish I can use to restore the clear surface?

RE: [CA11] i70 Display Screen Polishing
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum mmkwitek,
A coating is applied to the display screen. This makes it water repellent, and prevents glare. To avoid damaging this coating, only fresh water and a microfiber cloth should be used to clean the display screen of these instruments. While you may want to consider trying a plastic polish (ex. NOVUS Plastic Polish products, etc.), they will likely remove the aforementioned coating. |
