[CA11] C80 classic not seeing s1000 auto pilot
I have upgraded the C80 software. The user manual icon does not function so I have no manual. The C80 displays pilot x when the s1000 is powered on by its own source and connected by all three seatalk wires directly to the C80 three wire seatalk cable with all other seatalk devices disconnected.

Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Al1947,

The C-Series Classic MFD Reference Guide may be found here. The Autopilot Controls Transducer Status icon will be superimposed with a red "X" if any one of the following conditions occur:
- the operator has not configured the Autopilot Controls feature (MENU->SYSTEM SETUP->SYSTEM INTEGRATION->AUTOPILOT CONTROLS) to ENABLED
- the MFD has not been interfaced via SeaTalk communications protocol to a compatible Raymarine autopilot
- the MFD has suffered a failure of its SeaTalk communications circuitry.
- the autopilot has suffered a failure of its SeaTalk communications circuitry.
- a device within the SeaTalk bus has suffered a failure of its SeaTalk communications circuitry, causing communication between the MFD and autopilot to not be possible.
- a SeaTalk network hardware (wires, junction blocks, etc.) has occurred.
