Dear watsala,
Thank you for your post. Currently the ruler feature is not available in Lighthouse 3, however it is due to come out with a software update soon. A suggestion for measuring the distances between 2 points would be to create a route with 2 waypoints. A waypoint and point 1 and a waypoint at point 2, this will give you the distance.
