[DG] [DG11] A70d software update

I want to update the firmware in my A70d plotter.
Put the software on a CF card 16GB
The plotter did not started up.
Pushing the power-button gives some lights on the screen and then goes to black again. Nothing happens.

Please help

Thank you for your enquiry.

The software upgrade on the A70d should be quite straight forward, and it should not be causing the MFD stop powering up.

Please try a full factory reset,
* With the unit turned off press and hold the left hand soft key
* Keep it pressed and turn the unit on
* On screen it will say 'Factory Reset' and count down from 3
* Unit will reset and load into normal operation. This can take a couple of extra minutes than normal.

**Please make sure you back up all Waypoints and Routes etc to a separate Compact Flash Card other than your Cartography Card**

If the unit still will not power up correctly, we recommend the unit be sent to Raymarine’s Product Repair Center to be bench checked / serviced.
