[DG] [DG11] Testing ST60 Wind Instrument

I have a ST-60 long arm forward wind transducer that is not currently mounted. Before removal it was not working (no wind readings were being displayed). I had it removed from my masthead for testing, since I wanted to isolate whether the problem was with the AWI, the cable to the masthead, or further along the path.

I found the write up for testing the wind instrument while mounted. Is there any way to test the AWI while not mounted?

By AWI are you referring to the wind display itself or the masthead transducer?

If the wind instrument, then no, there is not a specific test to check the display responds to the inputs from the transducer.
