Linear Rudder Position Sensor
I recently had my hydraulic steering seals replaced and came back to my unit with the rudder position sensor disconnected from the ram. I reconnected the end to the ram, but noticed the seal a the end of the sensor was disconnected.
Is there some sort of fluid that needs to be in the sensor, or can I simply tighten the seal? |

RE: Linear Rudder Position Sensor
Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Travis,
Q. Is there some sort of fluid that needs to be in the sensor, or can I simply tighten the seal? A. No. Raymarine's rotary rudder reference units are not fluid filled. They are however sealed to prevent water intrusion. |
