Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Mooseboat,

The MFD and NMEA 2000 side of the ECI-100 are each designed to be interfaced as spurs to a powered and properly terminated SeaTalkng / NMEA 2000 backbone. Please click here to view the web page addressing how the engine side of the ECI-100 would be interfaced to the Yanmar engine. Further information on connecting the engine side of the ECI-100 would be interfaced to the Yanmar engine may be found within Chapter 4.6 - Yanmar engine connections of the ECI-100 Installation Instructions.
