Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Mark,
As indicated within the FAQ found here, maximum depth performance of the relatively low power output of RealVision and DownVision transducers, depth performance may be less in areas having strong thermoclines such as the Pacific coast of the US. As indicated therein, it is recommended that the system include a 1kW transducer as well. |
