It is recommended that you verify that you have configured your MFD's Chart application page's/pane's Motion Mode setting (CHART MODE & ORIENTATION->MOTION MODE) to RM (Relative Motion) and Chart Synch (CHART MODE & ORIENTATION->CHART SYNC) setting to OFF. Additionally, operators will typically configure the MFD's Chart application page's/pane's Chart Orientation to N-UP (North Up) when operating offshore and H-Up (Head Up) when operating near shore or inshore. The most commonly used Chart application page/pane configuration settings are Head Up Chart Orientation with a 2/3 Offset to maximize amount of chart displayed ahead of the boat's position. |
