Hi Dave,

The ST70 control head operates on STng or in SeaTalk, it cannot be used on both at the same time, so the converter cable simple enables you to plug the ST70 into SeaTalk, no need to use the SEaTalk to STng converter E22158.

note the St70 control head cannot be used to calibrate the ST2000 at all.

My reply of the 9th May covered the alternatives, ST6000/ ST6001/ ST6002, or even the ST7000/ ST7001/ ST7002
