Welcome to the Raymarine Forum Mike,

It is recommended that you verify that the MFD has been updated with the final E-Series Classic MFD software update (v5.69) and if not, that its software be updated accordingly. Should the MFD have been updated and should the reported issue persist, then it is recommended that a Factory Reset be commanded. Please click here to view a FAQ addressing this subject. The MFD should then be tested without a chart card in its reader to verify the operational state of the MFD.
