Raymarine fishfinding products are not designed perform as forward looking sonar products. That said, a DownVision transducer would not typically be used with sailing vessels. Instead, a CPT-S transducer would typically be used with ax8/eSx8 MFDs and Axiom MFDs installed on sailing vessels. This low profile transducer would typically be installed forward of the keel.

In the past owners of forward looking sonar products (ex. Interphase) have interfaced the video output to Raymarine systems or to a video encoder to have the Raymarine system repeat video from such systems.
