Q. Is there sufficient overlap on the tops and sides of the adapter to use a marine sealant as the unit will be installed outside...?
A. Indeed you should find that the adapter plate overlaps the mounting surface sufficiently to permit sealant to be applied between the mounting surface and the adapter plate.
