Hi Steve,
MFDs, Radars, fishfinders, and IP cameras share a Large amount of data and are connected up on a ethernet based network called Raynet. Your VHF, ext gps antenna, autopilot or intruments share much less data and are on a seperate network called STNG. Q1-what is the point of the 5-Way SeaTalkng Connector A1- If you have a STNG device, some examples are above, that device would connect to a STNG five way and the Master MFD would then connect to the STNG five way. The master mfd would then act as the "traffic cop" to route data through the system. Chris, |
