Interchangeability of Clearpulse and Downvision transducers
Have existing a67 MFDs (600W Sonar variant) driving E66088 (B60 12deg) hull mounted transducers.
Can a a78 MFD (Downvision variant) be connected directly to the B60? even if there are limitations on its performance, can it be done & function without damage to either unit? If the answer is no, what converters could be used, and what loss in performance/sonar display detail? Lastly, are there any flush mount thru-hull transducers available that are fully compatible with the a78 or other Downvision variants? |
