Welcome to the Raymarine Forum scottor,

The Evolution autopilots are indeed compatible with the E-Series Widescreen MFDs. As both of these products feature SeaTalkng communications interfaces, they are designed to be interfaced to via a powered and properly terminated SeaTalkng backbone. The Evolution Autopilots are extremely easy to commission ... just run the Dockside Wizard and then take the boat out for a deviation/handling sensing cruise. Details of the procedure may be found within the Evolution autopilot Set-up and Commissioning with p70 and p70R guide.
