Welcome to the Raymarine Forum BosSH,
Q1: Does the power cable to the Quantum radar need its own on/off switch as well? A1: Per the FAQ found here, it is recommended that radomes and open array pedestals be powered from a dedicated power circuit which may be switched ON/OFF without affecting the power state of the system's other marine electronics devices. This referenced FAQ also explains the reason behind the recommendation for such a switch. |
