[LW] [LW11] Autohelm ST6000+ Display problems

The display on my control unit seems to have a connection issue. When switched on the display shows everything (see attached picture) and then every 20-30 seconds or so it shows the normal screen for a second or so. It appears to control the rudder as expected - or at least the rudder moves when I press +1 or -1 but for most of the time the display is unreadable.

The unit is part of the Autohelm 6000 and is connected to the Course Computer with a Seatalk cable that is plugged in securely both ends.

Is there anything I should try to get the display working properly? is there anything inside the control unit itself that could be be looked at to see if there is a poor connection?
