Axiom 7 and airmar compatibility

I have a e7 with hybrid touch. I have an airmar st850pv for speed and an airmar dt800pv for depth I also have an St 70+ display at the mast. I’m looking to upgrade to the axiom 7 to take advantage of the lighthouse sailing features and want to know it this is all going to be comparable and work on the network. Thanks

Hello tsing,

A Axiom 7 will preform the same as the e7 in regards to the NMEA2000/STNG buss.
The equipment you have will work the same with the Axiom 7 as it did with the e7.

i would recommend upgrading to the Axiom 7. If the e7 is flush mounted there is even a adapter plate to fit the Axiom 7 in the e7 footprint.

Thanks for the reply. I was looking at the lighthouse 3 software, will it work with my e7 with hybrid touch ? It seems like one place I looks says no and one place says yes .

Hello Theo,

Lighthouse 3 software will NOT work on an e7. The e7 can only work on Lighthouse 2.
