Hello Wouter,

You cannot connect two transmitting devices ('talkers') to one receiving NMEA0183 'listener', as they will corrupt each other's data. This is one of the many problems with NMEA0183, and the best solution is always to avoid 0183 completely if at all possible.

If you do need to connect two talker devices on 0183 then you'd need an NMEA Multiplexer. Raymarine doesn't make one, but companies like Actisense or Shipmodul specialise in this kind of thing.
