[LW] [LW11] S2 smart pilot and PC

Hello,

On my boat I have a S2 smart pilot connected to a ST6001 and ST60 through seatalk bus. I use the "Adrena" software (https://www.adrena-software.com/) on a PC an want to connect it to the S2 module to control the navigation (waypoints defined on the PC). To do that, I will connect one NMEA entry of the S2 to the PC. From what I read in the documentation about the "extracted information" of the NMEA input, this should work. Can someone confirm that using the NMEA connction I will be able to control the track of the boat through my computer ?

Thank you for your post.

You will be able to share waypoints, route and track data over NMEA0183. If you are following a route from your navigation software, you can action the tracking of the pilot via the control head of the autopilot.

You will not be able to control the autopilot from your navigation software, these are controlled from our chartplotters only.
